The Thanksgiving trip is always a hit-or-miss adventure, but this year, with over five feet of snow at Daisy and LuLu passes, we were able to drop cornices and hit kickers that we would usually have to wait until later in the year. Along on the trip were riders Darren Merth, Matt Nicklason, Jimmy, Dean (my dad), and me, Jeff. The smaller group along with the deeper snow made for some great early-season riding. The only thing that didn't go our way, which really ticked off Merth, was that we didin't get our free Thanksgiving dinner at the Miner's Saloon.
