This year's camp went off big. The weather sucked, but the riding rocked. With some of the biggest talent in the freestyle industry looking on, the beginners made huge improvements.
First time rider, Matt Nicklason, was pulling huge cans by Sunday. Josh and Tony were rocking once again this year, but left early and missed the party Saturday night. Team rider Nick Gotwald had a bunch of sled problems (the only Ski-Doo there), but was super consistent and hit his biggest gap to date.
Haag showed up with a bunch of talent, as always. He and his boys were going off, and his seat grabs stole the show Saturday afternoon. Special thanks to Sam and Lucas from Legion Freestyle for making the trip all the way from Cooke City - nobody can stretch a cordova like Sam.
Plans are in the works for next year – bigger and better than ever and not to be missed. If you’re lucky, you might see Haag pull a putter.
The 715 Riders would like to say thanks to everyone who participated and attended. Special thanks to Merth Excavating for preparing the track, hauling the wood chips and building the landing. Give them a call for your excavating needs – 715-684 5764. They are freestyle/motocross track specialists.
